Albuquerque - the deep freeze of 2011 continues here in New Mexico. Last week we hit close to record lows with negative 8 degree weather. This coming week the trend continues with 2- 4 inches of accumulation expected. The bike got the worst of the weather as its battery contracted hypothermia. In atticipation of a weak battery I've equiped myself with a new battery from pep boys and a trickle charger for future protection. After I do a detailed wash/safety check of the bike and place a new decal of the gas tank, the trip home should be a go.
